GREEN BAY — If you want to know more about Rotary and get answers to questions you may have, book Saturday, May 20, as a date to remember!

Not only is it educational but it’s a great fun time to network with other Rotarians and meet up with those you have known for years. Now is the time to register and if you need a hotel room at the Hampton Inn (201 Main Street) over Friday night and/or Saturday (Hampton Hotel) it is especially important to reserve it by April 15th!

Friday Festivities

  • Major Donor Cocktail reception and dinner at 5:30 p.m. with TRF and District presentation at 7:30 p.m.
  • Registration for the District Conference is open from 4-7 p.m. in the lobby of the Hampton Inn.

Saturday Morning

  • Registration at the KI Convention Center, 333 Main Street, Green Bay, open at 7:30 a.m.
  • Conference Opening in the KI Grand F, G, H with Past Governor Joe Jones.
  • Current District Governor Diane Dappern will give the official District 6220 Welcome followed by Tom Thorfinnson speaking on Rotary Foundation’s 100th Anniversary.
  • Plenary Sessions start at 9 a.m. and run through 3:15 p.m.
  • District and Global Grants, 9 a.m., Joel Sullivan and Ian Griffiths.
  • District Project Panel at 9:30 a.m. with Nancy Loberger.
  • How to Make Your Meetings Fun with Joe Jones at 10:30 a.m..
  • Membership Panel at 11 a.m. moderated by Jones.
  • Rotary Youth Exchange at 11:30 with Sandy Testin.

Saturday Afternoon

  • OHP at 1:15 p.m. with Michael Schwartz-Oscar.
  • Young Professional Rotarians in Action at 1:45 p.m. featuring Adam Lofquist, Charise Weigen, Kola Alayande, Kathryn Kroll and Scott Knaffla.
  • Book packing hands-on service project at 3:30 p.m..
  • GSE, Global and Ambassadorial Scholars, RYE and RYLA will have an alumni reunion from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Saturday Evening

  • After a full day of Plenary sessions, you’ll look forward to networking and socializing with cocktails at 5:30 p.m.
  • Dinner commences at 6 p.m. and at 7 p.m. there is the traditional Governor Presentation and Passing of the Gavel from District Governor Diane Dappern to District Governor Elect Tina Hall.
  • The evening will end with the keynote address by PRIVP Tom Thorfinnson.
